I often visit the Ayyappa Temple, Bolarum, situated at Lakdawala, 1.5 km from Alwal Bridge. One can reach this beautiful temple after crossing Alwal Bridge, Alwal Rythu Bazar, Mutyalamma Temple, Lakdawala Busstop. Its stone throw distance from Lakdawala Busstop. One can reach Lakdawala from Secunderabad Railway Station 211 series (except 211M), 22 Series (except 22C).  This temple is the oldest ayyappa temple in Hyderabad / Secunderabad. Lot of ayyappa devotees visit during Ayyappa season. Keralites also visit this temple often.  There is a store outside the temple wherein you get all the Ayyappa pooja related items.  Therea are few sub temples apart from main Ayyappa Temple. Nagaraja, Shiva temple, Murugan Temple, Brahma Rakshasi, etc. The Shiva temple in this temple complex is unique. Most of the shiva idols are worshipped in linga form.  One can rarely find the Shiva and Parvati in idol form.
